The Michael Rixon Trophy was presented to Ian Smith for organising the Annual Exhibition events over the years. Members can view the AGM minutes in the members section.

Thanks to all those who attended our running day on Saturday.

We ran trains on Exdale complete with its newly finished extension along with the OO Circle and the O Circle.

The club is holding a running day on Saturday, 27th September, 2008. This is a chance to get the club layouts out and run trains on them for the day. If you are interested in joining the club or would like to learn more, then you are more than welcome to come along from 10am onwards.

An appreciation

Members were saddened to learn of the death of John Tillyer, the founder member of the Club, on the 23rd April 2008.

A report on the 2008 Annual Exhibition held on Saturday 9th February has been posted here.

On display and progress report

The Exdale Light Railway can be seen at the Abingdon MRC exhibition on the 1st March 2008.

It just had to go...

We have now sold our Rugeley layout to make room for all the new layouts that are currently being constructed.
